Reddit (RDDT) Q1 2026 Earnings Review

Reddit 101 – Reddit is a large social media platform made up of millions of small communities (subreddits) purpose-built for a specific topic. Users in these communities can share content, comment and rank all posts with up or down votes to guide how frequently they're shown to other members. If a post does especially well, it will move to a subreddit’s main feed, which they call the front page. There's also an overarching Reddit homepage where people can discover content from various subreddits. Moderators are responsible for keeping conversation within community parameters while “karma scores” are used to track how a user’s typical posts perform.

They monetize with ads, a Reddit Premium subscription and by licensing their data to AI model companies.
